Orky Rigging

I never did post the low poly version of my runescape character... I was also learning how to rig in maya so I made a basic rig. Its been a while!(take no notice of my rubbish animation lol)

AMX/PUMA Assault Rifle

Exploring the toolset I am collecting. Used a few new canvas brushes and selected a hexagonal brush to indicate some sort of holographic camouflage. Not happy with the simplistic shape but I wasn't focusing too much on the silhouette. Considering it was just playing around I am happy with the results. Hell knows how I got on without textured brushes before!

Zbrush Sculpt

I haven't posted here for a while! I hardly get time to finish anything but here is something that I started a couple of weeks ago. Its a sculpt of my grandad and I started from a sphere then retopologized the mesh. All in all I have spent around 9-10 hours on it so far.

ZBrush sculpt anatomy practice – Hammerman

Initially attempted to sculpt this without any reference, using knowledge already obtained through practice. Once I thought I had taken it far enough, I got the anatomy books out and started fixing the mistakes. I’ve found this is a good way to try to maintain and apply knowledge relating to anatomy.

Squad Support Mech


This just flowed from start to finish. I think this is one of the first pieces of work I have ever done where it didn't feel like I'd made any fundamental mistakes early on or anything that troubled me throughout. Really pleased with it!

Squad Support Mech-12 Mark III "Guardian".

It's a lightly armoured Mech designed to operate amongst infantry. It's standard armament features two double-barrelled plasma cannons on each arm. These are modular and the load out can be changed depending on what's required for a particular mission. It also supports smoke , chaff, flare and drone launching capabilities. It can be piloted or set to autopilot for guard and patrol purposes.

Armoured Assault Mech - 10 "Nordwind"

My first mech! I was so inspired by some stuff I saw today that I thought I would give it a go. This is my first proper mech from start to... well not finished but hey I did it in one night and I have to go to bed... I'm in for 5 hours sleep but I am pleased with the results! Gosh this was fun!

The perspective is probably way off but hey it's practice... my eyes are now very fuzzy

Four Centaurs of the Apocalypse - Death

Calling this one done for now.

If I ever find the time, I might have a crack at the other three however with ZBrush 4 on the horizon and the GA Comicon competition coming up soon I might not get any free time for a while which is why im leaving this at sculpt stage for now. Most of the time was spent on determining the actual design than the sculpting.

Attempt at GoW3 concept art.

Attempted to copy the Hercules concept art from God of War 3 as well as a random head. Fun times :D.

Hopefully after this week i'll still have time to work on developing my 2D skills.

I tried to call my bank today because they locked my card... the whole ordeal infuriated me so I drew a yeti... AN ANGRY YETI!!!!!
